Easter Sunrise Worship at Camus Cemetery
The first Eucharist of Easter was celebrated at Camus Cemetery with a congregation of 43. The Service began with the Kindling of the Paschal Fire, an ancient liturgical ceremony and included the baptism of Rachel Morrell, one of our confirmation candidates.

Afterwards parishioners and visitors enjoyed tea and bacon butties in Mrs Joey King's farmyard adjacent to the cemetery.
During the service 2 communion chalices presented by Lilian Davis were dedicated by the Rector in recognition of the substantial bequest from our late parishioner Mrs Anna Clail.
